Some Results about Set-Valued Complementarity Problem
This paper is devoted to consider the notions of complementary problem (CP) and set-valued complementary problem (SVCP). The set-valued complementary problem is compared with the classical single-valued complementary problem. Also, the solution set of the set-valued complementary problem is characterized. Our results illustrated by some examples. This paper is devoted to co...
متن کاملBayesian Logistic Regression Model Choice via Laplace-Metropolis Algorithm
Following a Bayesian statistical inference paradigm, we provide an alternative methodology for analyzing a multivariate logistic regression. We use a multivariate normal prior in the Bayesian analysis. We present a unique Bayes estimator associated with a prior which is admissible. The Bayes estimators of the coefficients of the model are obtained via MCMC methods. The proposed procedure...
متن کاملModeling the Non-Expected Choice: A Weighted Utility Logit
This work derives and simulates two choice models applying the weighted utility theory, a generalization of the expected utility theory. It shows one set of assumptions, which justify the practice of including the mean and the variance of a risky alternative into a linear utility function of the choice model. A Monte Carlo simulation provides empirical evidence on the robustness of the models.
متن کاملDynamic Logit with Choice Aversion∗
We characterize a generalization of discounted logistic choice that incorporates a parameter to capture different views the agent might have about the costs and benefits of larger choice sets. The discounted logit model used in the empirical literature is the special case that displays a “preference for flexibility” in the sense that the agent always prefers to add additional items to a menu. O...
متن کاملGeneral Cut-Generating Procedures for the Stable Set Polytope
We propose general separation procedures for generating cuts for the stable set polytope, inspired by a procedure by Rossi and Smriglio and applying a lifting method by Xavier and Campêlo. In contrast to existing cut-generating procedures, ours generate both rank and non-rank valid inequalities, hence they are of a more general nature than existing methods. This is accomplished by iteratively s...
