چکیده
Due to the increasing share of fluctuating renewable energy, a seasonal energy storage with high capacity is needed, which stores summer surplus electricity satisfy winter heating demand. It assumed that control integration novel thermochemical concept into building system can meet this requirement and save operating costs. For purpose, model-predictive prediction horizon beyond public weather forecasts crucial. A state-based model developed consisting building, water buffer heat supply. To assess effects storage, different supply configurations are considered. On basis, two Model Predictive Control (MPC) concepts designed efficiently operate over one year. Since reliable in time range several days, test reference year data used approximate forecast period. Additionally, hierarchy comprised superordinate optimal generation scheduling (OGS) subordinate MPC. The follow scheduled long-term lime trajectory realise possible short-term yields based on current forecast. tracking formulated either objective function or constraints. module allows reduction costs 18% realistic scenario up 80% case highly prices. This potential fully exploited by approaches, but it very sensitive change controller parameters, fluctuation price data. Moreover, applying objective-based approach, higher-level could be avoided. Through results work, confirmed greatly reduce annual not crucial apply forecasts.

This paper proposes an MPC - based (model predictive control) scheme to control active and reactive powers of DERs (distributed energy resources) in a grid - connected mode (either through a bus with its associated loads as a PCC (point of common coupling) or an MG (micro - grid)). DER may be a DG (distributed generation) or an ESS (energy storage system). In the proposed scheme, the set - poin...

This paper presents an energy management framework for building climate comfort systems that are interconnected in a grid via aquifer thermal energy storage (ATES) systems in the presence of two types of uncertainty, namely private and common uncertainty sources. The ATES system is considered as a seasonal storage system that can be a heat source or sink, or a storage for thermal energy. While ...

متن کاملEnergy efficiency in a building complex through seasonal storage of thermal energy in a confined aquifer
Confined aquifers are formations surrounded by impermeable layers called cap rocks and bed rocks. These aquifers are suitable for the seasonal storage of thermal energy. A confined aquifer was designed to meet the cooling and heating energy needs of a residential building complex located in Tehran, Iran. The annual cooling and heating energy needs of the buildings were estimated to be 8.7...
