Model-Free Predictive Current Control of SPMSM Drives Using Extended State Observer

Conventional predictive control (PC) has been employed for machine drives due to good dynamic response and easy implementation. However, the disturbance caused by parameter mismatch is one of main barriers its widespread application. In order deal with this issue, work proposes a novel model-free current (MFPCC) surfaced permanent magnet synchronous machines (SPMSM). The contribution that extended state observer (ESO) proposed MFPCC only utilizes input output knowledge plant without using any in controller, which can effectively suppress disturbances. addition, effect initial inductance on conventional ESO analyzed detail. validated compared against three methods, namely PC ESO, ESO. experimental results have carried out verify effectiveness MFPCC.
