چکیده
We solved analytically the three-body mass-imbalanced problem embedded in $D$ dimensions for zero-range resonantly interacting particles. derived negative energy eigenstates of Schr\"odinger equation by imposing Bethe-Peierls boundary conditions zero-energy two-body bound states. The solution retrieves Efimov-like discrete scaling factor dependence with dimension. analytical form bound-state wave function can be used to probe effective dimension asymmetric cold atomic traps Feshbach resonances tuned close Efimov limit.

Four-Body Bound State Calculations in Three-Dimensional Approach
The four-body bound state with two-body interactions is formulated in Three-Dimensional approach, a recently developed momentum space representation which greatly simplifies the numerical calculations of few-body systems without performing the partial wave decomposition. The obtained three-dimensional Faddeev-Yakubovsky integral equations are solved with two-body potentials. Results for four-bo...
متن کاملThree-Body System with Short-Range Interactions
Within the framework of non-relativistic scalar effective field theory (EFT) it is shown that the amplitude for a particle scattering off a two-body bound state, in leading order EFT, is entirely determined by two-body parameters. No three-body forces are required at the leading order. The arbitrary parameter present in the solution of the equation of Skorniakov and Ter-Martirosian for doublet ...
متن کاملFirst-order transition in the one-dimensional three-state Potts model with long-range interactions
The first-order phase transition in the three-state Potts model with long-range interactions decaying as 1/r has been examined by numerical simulations using the recently proposed Luijten-Blöte algorithm. By applying scaling arguments to the interface free energy, the Binder’s fourth-order cumulant, and the specific heat maximum, the change in the character of the transition through variation o...
متن کاملEffective Interactions for the Three-Body Problem
The three-body energy-dependent effective interaction given by the Bloch-Horowitz (BH) equation is evaluated for various shell-model oscillator spaces. The results are applied to the test case of the three-body problem (H and He), where it is shown that the interaction reproduces the exact binding energy, regardless of the parameterization (number of oscillator quanta or value of the oscillator...
