چکیده

Abstract Dithiopyr and dinitroanilines are preemergence-applied, mitotic-inhibiting herbicides used to control goosegrass [ Eleusine indica (L.) Gaertn.] in turfgrass. A suspected resistant E. population was collected from a golf course putting green evaluated for possible resistance dithiopyr prodiamine. After dose–response evaluation, the α-tubulin gene sequenced known target-site mutations that have been reported confer herbicides. mutation discovered resulted an amino acid substitution at position 136 leucine phenylalanine (Leu-136-Phe). Previous research has indicated Leu-136-Phe does dinitroaniline The level of by regression models I 50 values indicates there is 54.1-, 4.7-, >100-, >100-fold dithiopyr, prodiamine, pendimethalin, oryzalin, respectively, when compared with susceptible based on seedling emergence response 88.4-, 7.8-, biomass reduction response. This first report less prodiamine pendimethalin or oryzalin due associated resistance.

Neuropeptides Gly-Asp-Pro-Phe-Leu-Arg-Phe-amide (GDPFLRFamide) and Ser-Asp-Pro-Phe-Leu-Arg-Phe-amide (SDPFLRFamide) Are Encoded by an Exon 3’ to Phe-Met-Arg-Phe- NH, (FMRFamide) in the Snail Lymnaea stagnalis

Biochemical analysis has shown the pond snail Lymnaea stagnalis to contain 2 main classes of Phe-Met-Arg-Phe-NH, (FMRFamide)-like neuropeptides: the tetrapeptides FMRFamide and Phe-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH, (FLRFamide), and the heptapeptides Gly-Asp-Pro-Phe-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH, (GDPFLRFamide) and Ser-Asp-Pro-Phe-Leu-Arg-Phe-NH, (SDPFFRFamide). By genomic mapping and DNA sequencing, we show here that the GDP/S...

Hb Heathrow [β103(G5)Phe→Leu], a First Report in an Asian Patient with Erythrocytosis

Congenital erythrocytosis (CE) is a rare and heterogeneous disease. The high oxygen affinity hemoglobin (Hb) variants are the most common cause of CE. Herein, we report a Korean patient with isolated erythrocytosis. A 25-year-old man was referred to our hospital for evaluation of high Hb level (Hb 20.4 g/dL, hematocrit 58%, reticulocyte count 2.90%, white blood cell count 6.83×10⁹/L, and platel...

CD10 inhibitors increase f-Met-Leu-Phe-induced neutrophil transmigration.

A variety of bacterial enterocolitis in their active stages are characterized by the migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) across epithelial surfaces. These mechanisms could explain some effects of enterotoxins observed in the intestinal mucosae. Here, using specific inhibitors, we investigated the potential role of CD10 (E.C. 3.4.24.11), present at the surface of human neutrophils, ...

A cDNA encoding rat intestinal trefoil factor (rITF) was prepared by reverse transcription and PCR amplification. The sequence obtained was well conserved with that of other trefoil peptides. An antisense riboprobe produced from the clone was used to localize the sites of ITF expression in the rat gastrointestinal tract using hybridization in situ. We found rITF mRNA in goblet cells in the smal...
