چکیده
We estimate the impact of minimum wage on US farm worker employment by exploiting state-level variation in recent increases. A $1.00 increase decreases likelihood for an individual around one percentage point, with effect concentrated among native and naturalized citizens. However, we find no evidence a relationship between either number workers or guest workers. The difference these results may be due to lower international migration high states. Citizenship immigration status can influence labor market regulations workforce.
