Minimization of Mutual Coupling Interferences between Nearby Antenna Arrays to Retain their Beam Steering Functionality

This paper presents an effective excitation synthesis algorithm of phased arrays antennas to optimize the radiation patterns under minimum mutual coupling/induction interferences between two nearby arrays. The optimization goal is minimize inter-array in attempt retain their beam characteristics. Furthermore, a cost function defined reduce reaction and weighting deviations from desired ones for directional radiations by embedding coupling reduction factor (CRF). resulting solutions are simple closed-form easy implementation. Besides, mechanisms effectively interpreted using singular-value decomposition (SVD) method create eigenspace signal representations complementary null space. Finally, theoretical numerical full-wave simulation examples presented validate proposed suppression method.
