Abstract We use TMS to estimate the cortical projections of five right hand muscles (FDI, APB, ADM, ECU, and FCU) in healthy participants. The estimates are obtained using a newly developed probabilistic localization method based on location-threshold-direction (LTD) model. In LTD model, neural activation is characterized by an location (L) brain threshold (T) induced electric field at that preferred direction for (D). parameters inferred from active motor measurements various coil locations examining posterior probability density functions parameters. were able localize above precentral gyrus within 5 mm radius.
