Migraine management: a review of healthy diets and bioactive compounds
نویسندگان
چکیده
Migraines are one of the world’s leading disabilities, disproportionally affecting women. Socioeconomic challenges worsen quality life for migraine sufferers, many whom express dissatisfaction with current therapies. Since vascular theory migraines has already been disproven, research investigates neurovascular aspects like cortical spreading depression (CSD) and potentially impaired oxygen metabolism in mitochondria. This review aims to assess efficacy bioactive compounds such as red wine, CoQ10, caffeine, magnesium (Mg2+), riboflavin (B2) reducing or preventing migraines. A past literature is used reach conclusions on these compounds. The goal researching help decrease cases excessive medication use offer complementary options individuals dissatisfied their therapies. The outcomes studies regarding wine not definitively established, ambiguous role caffeine requires further controlled intake dosage. Compounds magnesium, exhibit potential prophylactic supplements reduction occurrences. Evaluation using functional food product creation guidelines set by Functional Food Center allowed be evaluated up step 10. Future should aim refine information that remains unresolved from steps, particularly addressing factors dosage, timing, frequency consumption. Additionally, efforts could directed toward identifying a suitable vehicle incorporates all beneficial compounds. Keywords: Migraine; compounds; food; depression; CoQ10; wine; caffeine; magnesium; IgG-based elimination diet; dietary approaches stop hypertension (DASH)

A review of bioactive compounds of cyanobacteria and microalgae as cosmetically useful supplements
Today, the valuable metabolites of microalgae are widely used in the production of many cosmetic products, as the biomass of algae contains pigments, proteins, essential fatty acids, polysaccharides, vitamins and minerals, all of which are present in both natural foods and cosmetics are used. In fact, these secondary metabolites with anti-blemish and anti-microbial, anti-aging, sunscreen and sk...

In last three decades the discovery of metabolite and biological activities from macroalgae has been increased significantly. Many sophisticated modern research tools are available for making of chemical compound but there are still many natural bioactive compounds in the womb of nature which is a mystery, scientist are still working to find out more biologically active compounds. Bioactive sub...
متن کاملA Review on Isolation and Identification of Endophytic Actinobacteria, Their Chemical Structure, Bioactive Compounds, and Potential Medical-Pharmaceutical Applications
Over recent years, nosocomial infections, and the morbidity and mortality associated with pathogenic bacteria have dramatically increased due to antibiotic resistance and imposed significant burdens on the global health system. Critical shortage of effective therapeutics against multidrug-resistant bacteria highlights the need for development of novel antibiotics. Actinobacteria are well-known...
متن کاملBioactive compounds from Microalgae and its different applications- a review
Microalgae are capable producers of food, feed supplement, chemicals, and biofuels. Marine microalgae and cyanobacteria are rich in several chemical compounds therefore, they could be used in some biological applications related with health benefits. Through microalgae, a wide variety of compounds such as polyphenols, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), or phytosterols can be obtained. However,...
متن کاملReview Paper-marine Microbial Bioactive Compounds
Oceans have borne most of the biological activities on our planet. A number of biologically active compounds with varying degrees of action, such as anti-tumor, anti-cancer, anti-microtubule, anti-proliferative, cytotoxic, photo protective, as well as antibiotic and antifouling properties, have been isolated to date from marine sources. The marine environment also represents a largely unexplore...
