چکیده
Microsatellites are short sequence repeats that make up the genomes of eukaryotes and prokaryotes. They great importance as DNA markers for studies in several fields genetics. In present review, we searched published five years period 2017 to 2021 regarding use microsatellites with forest tree species from Brazilian biomes, order examine these resources conservation. We scientific papers journals indexed on Scopus Web Science databases. There were found 38 peer reviewed articles used biomes. The Atlantic Forest was biome more (35.9 %) most 2018 (34.2 %). addition, studied belonged Fabaceae family conclusions recommendations made ratify contribution microsatellite conservation native

Collecting pollen for genetic resources conservation 25
Pollen grains are the mature male (haploid) gametophyte of higher plants. These tiny organs (10-100 IJ.m in diameter) develop in the anthers (Stanley and Linskens, 1974). When the flower opens the anthers become exposed to the environment and dehydration triggers a mechanism for release of the pollen. In the process, the pollen also dehydrates. Though the pollen of most species can withstand dr...

Genetic structure and conservation of Mountain Lions in the South-Brazilian Atlantic Rain Forest
The Brazilian Atlantic Rain Forest, one of the most endangered ecosystems worldwide, is also among the most important hotspots as regards biodiversity. Through intensive logging, the initial area has been reduced to around 12% of its original size. In this study we investigated the genetic variability and structure of the mountain lion, Puma concolor. Using 18 microsatellite loci we analyzed ev...
متن کاملPoultry Genetic Resources and Conservation Biology
Recent generations of poultry students and poultry specialists generally seem to lack awareness of the vast genetic diversity which has accumulated in the domestic birds. This diversity has tended to become segregated within the realms of special purpose and special group such as industrial breeders and producers. There are many variants and variation in relation to species, body systems, and p...
