چکیده

Brassavola nodosa (L.) Lindl. is a tropical epiphytic orchid showing characteristics of interest for the ornamental nursery industry, as well considered an endangered species. Problems with traditional propagation methods limit development large-scale commercial production system. The use micropropagation has been investigated this species, and liquid in vitro systems showed potential temporary immersion systems, also called bioreactors (TIB) B. nodosa. This study evaluated efficiency SETIS™ TIBs Explants consisting young shoots tips measuring between 0.3 0.5 cm were collected from 1-yr-old seedlings used shoot multiplication. Four culture evaluated: semi-solid system 160 mm × 100 TP1600 Microbox containing 500 ml medium control, 4 L bioreactor (SETIS™, VERVIT, Belgium) aeration frequencies 2 h, 8 h. For all treatments, duration was min. Results that explants frequency h min returned highest multiplication rates, 4.6 produced per explant compared 2.8 agar-based systems. promoted increased growth rooting, therefore improving survival, facilitating acclimatization vitro-derived plantlets. first demonstrating successful protocol using bioreactors, which could have significant value impact species conservation purposes. Micropropagation achieved SETIS good thus survival ex vitro.

MICROPROPAGATION OF Bauhinia acuminata L

Seeds of Bauhinia acuminata L. were used as an experimental material for micropropagation. The effect of growth regulators concentrations on morphogenetic development was studied. Seeds were germinated on MS medium supplemented with GA3 (0.10, 1.0 and 2.0 mgL -1 ) and without GA3. Satisfactory germination was observed at media with 1.0 mgL -l GA3. Subsequent propagation from plantlet was perfor...

Short communication Micropropagation of Crossandra infundibuliformis (L.) Nees

Multiple shoots were induced from axillary and apical buds of Crossandra infundibuliformis (L.) on MS medium containing BAP and kinetin individually. The maximum number of multiple shoots were obtained from MS medium containing BAP 1 mgÿ1. The subcultures were done on fresh medium with the same composition and the number of multiple shoots increased during subculture of both types of explant. A...

Micropropagation of Saffron (crocus Sativus L.): a Review

Tissue culture is useful method for large scale production of healthy corms and also avenues for creating variability through in vitro use of mutagens and polyploidizing agents. Induction of callus and subsequent regeneration of plants is suggested as possible means of introducing new variation. In vitro micropopagation for product formation its utility is increasing the amount of crocin, picro...

Micropropagation of Pinus taeda L. from Juvenile Material

The purpose of this study was to develop a protocol for the micropropagation of Pinus taeda from juvenile material. Apical shoots and nodal segments were inoculated into MS, DCR or WV medium. After 90 days, the explants were transferred to WV5 medium supplemented or not with 6-benzyladenine (BA) (2.0 μM) in order to induce multiple shoot formation. For root induction, a medium composed of water...
