Microlearning and computer-supported collaborative learning: An agenda towards a comprehensive online learning system

<p style='text-indent:20px;'>With the rise of COVID-19 pandemic and its inevitable consequences in education, increased demand for robust online learning frameworks has occurred at all levels education system. Given transformative power Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine algorithms, there have been determined attempts through design application intelligent tools to overcome existing challenges platforms. Accordingly, educational providers researchers are investigating developing environments which share greater commonalities with real-world classroom conditions order better meet learners' needs. However, short attention spans widespread use smart devices social media bring about new e-learning systems known as microlearning (ML). While ample research ML micro-content, pedagogical a general lack alternative frameworks, theories practices still exist. The present models little say connections between interaction, including learner–content, learner–instructor learner–learner communication. This prompted us investigate complementary aspects Computer-supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) an interactive model, along embedded module development comprehensive platform. purpose this study is explore reference interaction retention environments, well theoretical foundations applications. In addition, we delve into principles behind CSCL, main elements identifying issues be faced improving efficacy collaboration processes outcomes. short, aim synthesize how CSCL can applied effective modules within platform, thereby offering STEM educators relevant roadmap towards progress that yet offered previous studies.</p>
