Microbubble and nanobubble-based gas flotation for oily wastewater treatment: a review

چکیده

Gas flotation for oily wastewater treatment is based on the attachment of gas bubbles to oil droplets produce lighter aggregates that rise surface. It a feasible, promising, and effective method due its high separation efficiency with no secondary contamination, cost-effectiveness, simple operation. This review focuses separating from emulsions by using microbubbles (MBs) nanobubbles (NBs), which offer advantages small bubble size, large specific surface area, slow rising velocity. The properties different types their generation methods were discussed. Different system designs operational parameters summarized dissolved flotation, induced electrolytic (EF). illustrated removal in MB- NB-based was affected various factors including initial concentration, pH, temperature, time, droplet size.
