However, due to outbreak COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia, various sectors including sector, have been instructed shut down a lockdown alternative control spread disease. The total has made impossible give proper management ponds indirectly led high mortality organisms. High rapid microbial growth, which affected water balance system.
objective this project was examine selected at Semenggok Inland Fishery Centre via physiochemical analysis. This also aimed determine identify bacteria population examined samples. Lastly, sought antimicrobial susceptibility patterns identified isolates.
In study, characteristics environmental samples were determined. soil collected from three randomly Centre, Kuching, Sarawak biological parameters analysed. Bacteria isolated both then characterised. Boiling-centrifugation method with modifications used for DNA extraction [1,2]. (GTG)5-PCR utilized screen clonal diversity among isolates. A dendrogram constructed using GelJ 1.0 software banding profile products [3]. Out all isolates analysed, 11 representative 16S rRNA sequencing based on grouping dendrogram. Brevundimonas sp., Staphylococcus Pseudomonas Escherichia Ralstonia Exiguobacterium sp. (Table 1).
tested antibiotic resistance disc diffusion method. Most resistant ampicillin (10 μg), penicillin streptomycin μg). MAR index calculated, ranged 0.143 0.714, indicating possibility culturing fish contaminated water. study revealed risk presence multiple (MAR) fishery centre. Therefore, centre should improve system constantly monitoring provide wastewater minimise distribution
