چکیده
The present work aimed to develop and investigate microbial consortia for petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs) detoxification plant growth improvement in hydrocarbons-contaminated soil. Here, we isolated several bacteria from PHCs-contaminated soils make bacterial two of the best were tested a pot experiment evaluate their potential PHCs removal chickpea promotion Results demonstrated that exerted considerable phytotoxic effects on physiology by causing 13–29% 12–43% reduction agronomic physiological traits, respectively. However, presence consortia, phytotoxicity plants was minimized, resulting 7.0–24% 6.0–35% increase respectively over un-inoculated controls. Bacterial also boosted nutrient uptake antioxidant mechanism chickpea. In addition, alone phytoremediated 52% initial concentration. addition could remove 74–80% concentration Based our research findings, suggest use multi-trait be sustainable environmentally friendly strategy remediation contaminated

Enhanced Biodegradation of Petroleum Hydrocarbons in Contaminated Soil
Soil samples taken from a contaminated site in Northern Quebec, Canada, exhibited a low capacity for biodegradation of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), despite a high capacity for the mineralization of aromatic hydrocarbons and a low toxicity of soil leachates as measured by Microtox assay. Toxicity assays directly performed on surface soil, including earthworm mortality and barley seedling ...

متن کاملBiodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in Petroleum Contaminated Soils
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are a class of potentially hazardous chemicals of environmental and health concern. PAHs are one of the most prevalent groups of contaminants found in soil. Biodegradation of complex hydrocarbon usually requires the cooperation of more than single specie. In this research biotreatment of PAH (phenanthrene) was studied in a solid-phase reactor using indigenou...

biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons (20 g/kg dw soil) was investigated in 3 media, differing in the kind of petroleum fractions. in the laboratory experiments, during 5 months, the activities of petroleum hydrocarbon-degrading microorganisms and dehydrogenase activity of soil was determined. gas chromatographic analysis showed the biological decontaminations for gas oil, kerosene and synth...

A laboratory study on the bioremediation of diesel contaminated soil with the earthworm Eudrilus eugeniae (Kingberg) was conducted. 5 ml of diesel was contaminated into soils in replicates and inoculated with E. eugeniae for 90 days. Physicochemical parameters, heavy metals and total petroleum hydrocarbons were analyzed using AAS. BTEX in contaminated soil and tissues of earthworms were determi...
