چکیده

In recent years, European countries have been trying to cultivate electrical scooters (e-scooters) as an alternative form of micro-mobility. The purchase and maintenance costs private e-scooters are expensive so cities collaborating with companies construct e-scooter rental network. This paper aims interpret the usage patterns suggest optimal station locations for charging parking. dataset depicts a three-month time period (August, September, May year 2020/2021) 26,374 trips, in which there were no pandemic limitations. results based on two main features: initial–final position (the total distance is unknown) travel time. Most rides refer leisure trips but portion users that ride casual or commutes from work. Here, scooter network covers demand city Thessaloniki suggested. implementation plan indicates three stages construction up completion operation responsible creation development sustainable by adding approximately 20 stations at every stage. capacity fluctuates between 3 parking spaces, should accommodate preserve free spaces potential riders. According characteristics Thessaloniki, its coverage requires 67 carefully distributed stations.

Real Time Event Location Detection Based Mobility Pattern Modelling for Social Media User Mobility Analysis

-Detection of important events in a region through social media has been a recent development with scope for multiple applications. One of the applications is the analysis of the mobility of the users in the region to adapt the energy and resources as per their movement. For this purpose, the travel or movement behaviour of the social media users is analysed through their posts and related mess...

User Mobility Pattern Scheme for Location Update and Paging in Wireless Systems

The user mobility pattern (UMP) scheme is introduced for location update and paging in wireless systems where mobile terminals (MTs) maintain their history data in a database called user mobility history (UMH). During a location update, a UMP is derived from UMH and registered to the network. Unless the MT detects that it has moved out of the registered UMP, it does not perform any other locati...

On the estimation of user mobility pattern for location tracking in wireless networks

AbsfracfThis paper presents a new scheme to estimate the user mobility by incorporating the aggregate history of mobile users and system parameters. With this approach, each user’s position within the location area is differentiated by zone partition for more accurate prediction. In order tn provide the flexibility of tradeoff between quality demand and computation complexity, the estimation is...

A New Location Management Strategy Based on User Mobility Pattern for Wireless Networks

For a wireless network to effectively deliver services to the mobile users, it must have an efficient way to track them. The location management fulfills this task through location registration and paging. Many location management strategies, such as profile-based scheme (PBS), have been proposed to reduce the signaling traffic caused by the location update and paging. In the PBS scheme, the sy...
