چکیده
Micro-extrusion process of miniature heat pipe (MHP) with axial micro grooves is particularly difficult due to ultra-large extrusion ratio and complex cross-sectional shape. In this study, the shape control 6063 aluminum alloy MHP fabricated by micro-extrusion was successfully overcome, microstructure evolution in using as-extruded billets studied. The results obtained finite element (FE) analysis experiments show that material flow deformation behavior highly affected size effect, lower ram speed conductive forming integrity, dimension accuracy, surface quality extruded profiles. primary mechanism for failure micro-grooves severely more uneven between rib base region at higher speed, which caused effect shear even fractures ribs. Further research shows compared as-cast billets, much coarser grains were after an 205. Besides that, entirely different texture components instead typical < 100 > //the direction (ED) or 111 //ED fiber components. These atypical can be regarded as deviating from ideal a certain angle (15° 20°) along ? axis ?1 axis.

Development of microstructure and fracture toughness of AL-6063 alloy using equal channel angular extrusion
Severe plastic deformation (SPD) is one of the processes used to refine the microstructure of materials. Equal Channel Angular Extrusion (ECAE) is the most common method of SPD. In this study, AL-6063grain refinement was performed using the Equal Channel Angular Extrusion method. The material was extruded up to 6 passes at a temperature of 200°C following route A. A suitable die sets equipped w...
متن کاملEffect of Die Entry Angle on Extrusion Responses of Aluminum 6063 Alloy
Mechanical properties response of extruded 6063 aluminum alloy at varied die entry angle has been investigated. Plain carbon and tool steel dies with entry angles of 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 were simulated. Extrusion on the alloy was done at ambient temperature (37C) and the extruded samples from the various angles were subjected to selected service related mechanical tests and microstructural...
متن کاملEffects of Heat Treatment on Strength and Ductility of Rolled and Forged Aluminum 6063 Alloy
This work examines the effect of heat treatment on tensile strength and ductile responses of rolled and forged AA6063 aluminum alloy. Some cast samples were rolled while some were forged at ambient temperature (32C). The deformed samples were subjected to heat treatment processes. The tensile strengths of rolled (212 MPa) and forged (127 MPa) samples are enhanced at ambient temperature but with...
متن کاملInvestigation of the Forming Force in Torsion Extrusion Process of Aluminum Alloy 1050
In this paper, torsion extrusion (TE) process on 1050 aluminum alloy was investigated by simulation as a severe plastic deformation (SPD) method and the effects of friction coefficient, angular velocity of the rotating die and punch speed on maximum punch force were studied. A finite element (FE) model was developed to simulate the TE process via DEFORM software. The FE results were validated co...
متن کاملEffect of Equal Channel Angular Pressing and Annealing Treatment on the Evolution of Microstructure in AlMg0.7Si Aluminum Alloy
In this research, samples of AlMg0.7Si aluminum alloy are deformed up to three passes using equal channel angular pressing (ECAP). Formation of a sub-micron structure after three passes of ECAP is demonstrated. Microstructural stability of the samples is investigated at temperatures of 300-500 °C. At 300 °C, fine recrystallized structure forms after 10 min which remains stable when the ...
