چکیده
Abstract Background Cancer constitutes group of diseases responsible for the second largest cause global death, and it is currently considered one main public health concerns nowadays. Early diagnosis associated with best choice therapeutic strategy, essential to achieve success in cancer treatment. In women, breast most common type, whereas ovarian has highest lethality when compared other neoplasms female genital system. The present work, therefore, proposes association methylene blue citrate-coated maghemite nanoparticles (MAGCIT–MB) as a nanocomplex treatment cancer. Results vitro studies showed that T-47D A2780 cell lines underwent significant reduction viability after MAGCIT–MB, an event not observed non-tumor (HNTMC HUVEC) cells MDA-MB-231, triple-negative line. Flow cytometry experiments suggest mechanism endocytosis involved interiorization MAGCIT–MB clathrin pathway, both late apoptosis necrosis are types death caused by nanocomplex. Scanning electron microscopy light reveal changes morphology. Quantification reactive oxygen species confirmed cytotoxic its importance tumor cells. lower cytotoxicity individual solution citrate (MAGCIT) free (MB) shows their enhanced potential vitro. Conclusions Treatment induces but normal These results highlight core drug delivery increasing activity, aiming at Graphic

Study of antitumor activity in breast cell lines using silver nanoparticles produced by yeast
In the present article, we describe a study of antitumor activity in breast cell lines using silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) synthesized by a microbiological method. These Ag NPs were tested for their antitumor activity against MCF7 and T47D cancer cells and MCF10-A normal breast cell line. We analyzed cell viability, apoptosis induction, and endocytosis activity of those cell lines and we observ...
متن کاملAntitumor activity of Chidamide in hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines.
Chidamide, the structural analog of MS-275, is a novel and promising histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor for use in cancer therapy. To investigate its effects on cancer cell growth, MTT assay was performed in 10 human cancer cell lines. The data showed that the IC50 of Chidamide ranged from 1 to 13 µM, which was comparable to that of MS-275 in half of the tested cell lines. Furthermore, the gr...
متن کاملIn vitro antitumor activity of patulin on cervical and colorectal cancer cell lines
Background and Purpose: Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by some molds, especially Aspergillus and Penicilium, and is responsible for mycotoxicosis in animals and humans. There is still not very detailed data about the anti-cancer potency of patulin, but some reports demonstrated that it induces cellular apoptosis and toxicity. Materials and Methods: To determine the efficacy of patulin as a ther...
متن کاملBreast Metastasis of Ovarian Carcinoma
Breast metastasis of ovarian carcinoma is rare. To date, only 39 cases have been reported in the English-language literature so far. We are herewith reporting a primary ovarian papillary serous cyst adenocarcinoma metastasing to breast and epsilateral supraclavicular node in a 58 year old female as the first case in our centre, located at North-East India. The purpose of reporting...
متن کاملADENOSINE DEAMINASE ACTIVITY IN ESTROGEN RECEPTOR POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE HUMAN BREAST CANCER CELL LINES
ABSTRACT Background: The aims of this study were to assay the activity of adenosine deaminase (ADA) in estrogen receptor positive (MCF-7) and negative (MDA-MB468) breast cancer cell lines. Methods: MDA-MB468 and MCF-7 breast cancer cell lines were cultured in complete medium, striped serum with and without 0.0 1~-LM diethylstilbestrol (DES), complete medium in the presence and absence of 111M ...
