Metal-catalyzed silylation of sp3C–H bonds

چکیده
Metal-catalyzed activations of inert sp3C–H bonds have recently brought a revolution in the synthesis useful molecules and molecular materials, due to interest formed sp3C–SiR3 silanes, stable organometallic species, for further functionalizations that cannot reach directly.

Disclosed is a mild, scalable, and chemoselective catalytic cross-dehydrogenative C-H bond functionalization protocol for the construction of C(sp)-Si bonds in a single step. The scope of the alkyne and hydrosilane partners is substantial, providing an entry point into various organosilane building blocks and additionally enabling the discovery of a number of novel synthetic strategies. متن کاملBoryl-metal bonds facilitate cobalt/nickel-catalyzed olefin hydrogenation.
New approaches toward the generation of late first-row metal catalysts that efficiently facilitate two-electron reductive transformations (e.g., hydrogenation) more typical of noble-metal catalysts is an important goal. Herein we describe the synthesis of a structurally unusual S = 1 bimetallic Co complex, [((Cy)PBP)CoH]2 (1), supported by bis(phosphino)boryl and bis(phosphino)hydridoborane lig...
متن کاملCopper-catalyzed silylation of cyclopropenes using (trifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane.
A variety of cyclopropenes undergo direct silylation using (trifluoromethyl)trimethylsilane in the presence of a copper-bisphosphine catalyst; under these conditions, cyclopropenes that might otherwise undergo ring-opening are silylated efficiently.
متن کاملSilylation of Dinitrogen Catalyzed by Hydridodinitrogentris(Triphenylphosphine)Cobalt(I)
Recently, homogeneous cobalt systems were reported to catalyze the reductive silylation of dinitrogen. In this study the investigations on the silylation of dinitrogen catalyzed by CoH(PPh3)3N2 are presented. We show that in the presence of the title compound, the reaction of N2 with trimethylsilylchloride and sodium yields, on average, 6.7 equivalents of tris(trimethylsilyl)amine per Co atom i...
متن کاملRuthenium-catalyzed dealkenative N-silylation of amines by substituted vinylsilanes.
The ruthenium hydride complex-catalyzed N-silylation of primary and secondary amines with substituted vinylsilanes, with the general formula R(1)CH=CHSiR (where R(1) = H, Ph, n-Bu, Si(OEt)3), leading to the formation of a Si-N bond with the evolution of olefin is described. Vinylsilane acts as a silylative reagent and hydrogen acceptor. Under optimum conditions, the reaction offers an attractiv...
