Abstract The industrial metabolism has been conceived on the basis of analogies about set biochemical reactions (anabolism and catabolism) that occur in a living being their flows matter, energy substances natural ecosystems. This conception determines forms appropriation consumption substances, materials energy, from environment (natursphere) technical (technosphere) for transformation subsequent elimination, under articulation criteria cyclicity, toxicity efficiency. last aim Industrial Ecology (IE), is materialized when variety ecosystems eco-compatible with naturalisation manufacturing systems an effort to conceive them similar order achieve eco-compatibility. In addition bionic models field metabolism, several attempts have made design using Living Systems Theory (LST). formulation based can be considered as dynamic Bertalanffy’s perspective. this paper postulated Eco-Holonic Reference Architecture its projection adaptive, self-regulating required structure potential toolbox core knowledge holon throughout life cycle.
