Meckel’s diverticulum: a cause of recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding

Background: Obscure gastrointestinal bleedings accounting for 5%-30% of all continue to be a challenge and usually originate from the small bowel. Clinical case: We present case female patient hospitalized with signs bleeding three times within 3 months. could not identify source using standard methods, such as abdominal computed tomography ultrasonography, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy. detected Meckel’s diverticulum during diagnostic laparoscopy performed wedge resection Histopathology results revealed an acute progressive ulcer in wall bowel diverticulum. Conclusions: Diagnostic is one available minimally invasive procedures, which some cases can successfully bleeding.
