Magnesium Ferrite (MgFe2O4) Nanostructures Fabricated by Electrospinning
Magnesium ferrite (MgFe(2)O(4)) nanostructures were successfully fabricated by electrospinning method. X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy revealed that calcination of the as-spun MgFe(2)O(4)/poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) composite nanofibers at 500-800 degrees C in air for 2 h resulted in well-developed spinel MgFe(2)O(4) nanostuctures. ...
متن کاملPreparation of Fe3Si/Ferrite Micro- and Nano-Powder Composite
Composite material based on Fe3Si micro-particles and Mn-Zn nano-ferrite was prepared using powder metallurgy technology. The sol-gel followed by autocombustion process was used for synthesis of Mn0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 ferrite. 3 wt.% of mechanically milled ferrite was mixed with Fe3Si powder alloy. Mixed micro-nano powder system was homogenized by the Resonant Acoustic Mixing using ResodynLabRAM Mixer...
متن کاملSynthesis and microstructure of manganese ferrite colloidal nanocrystals.
The atomic level structure of a series of monodisperse single crystalline nanoparticles with a magnetic core of manganese ferrite was studied using X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) techniques at both the Fe and Mn K-edges, and conventional and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM and HRTEM). In particular, insights on the ...
متن کاملSurface Spin-Wave in Monocrystalline, Epitaxial Layers of Manganese Ferrite
We observed two surface spin-wave modes in ferromagnetic resonance in monocrystalline, epitaxial layers of manganese femte (NEFL). The layers, 2 3pn thick, were obtained by CVD on monocrystalline MgO substrates. In MEFL, observations were performed at room temperature and a frequency of 26.6 GHz. The critical angles for which the surface modes vanish amount to 48' and 37', respectively, for lin...
