چکیده
Introduction: Infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAB) is a health problem due to the limited therapeutic options available. This study was carried out evaluate main mechanisms of resistance carbapenems in CRAB last 10 years Brazil and describe susceptibility profile tigecycline polymyxins these isolates. Material methods: A systematic review according Prisma PUBMED/MEDLINE, Scopus, SciELO, Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) Cochrane Library. Data regarding enzyme were evaluated meta-analysis random effect. Results: 21 articles selected inclusion exclu-sion criteria that 1096 CRAB. Most studies southern (33.3 %) southeast (23.8 regions 2016 2018. According meta-analyzes, OXA-type carbapenemase mechanism involved low (98%; 95% CI: 0.91, 0.99; I² = 95%), with blaOXA-23-like(91 %; 95 % 0.76; 0.97; 97 or blaOXA-51-like/ ISAba1 (84 0.15, 98 genes, followed metallo-β-lactamases (MBL) (12 %, 0.09, 99 Klebsiella pneumoniae (KPC) (6 0.04; 0.08; 87 %). Conclu-sion: The included showed colistin (99 tigecy-cline (93 remains high not affected carbapenem resistance.

Evaluation of Resistance to Aminoglycosides among clinical isolates of Acinetobacter baumannii: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
In past decades, aminoglycosides have been commonly used to treat gram-negative infections as well as multi-drug resistant tuberculosis strains. However, in recent years, intrinsic, adaptive and acquired resistances have been raised against aminoglycosides which limits the uptake of these antibiotics. Acquired resistance to Acinetobacter baumannii responsible for nosocomial infection against am...

Imipenem-resistant multi-drug resistant (IR-MDR) Acinetobacter baumannii has been emerged as a morbidity successful nosocomial pathogen throughout the world. To address imipenem being yet the most effective antimicrobial agent against A. baumannii to control outbreaks and treat patients, a systematic review and meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the prevalence of IR-MDR A. baumannii. We sys...
متن کاملOXA-58, a novel class D {beta}-lactamase involved in resistance to carbapenems in Acinetobacter baumannii.
A carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii strain was isolated in Toulouse, France, in 2003. Cloning and expression in Escherichia coli identified the carbapenem-hydrolyzing beta-lactamase OXA-58, which is weakly related (less than 50% amino acid identity) to other oxacillinases. It hydrolyzed penicillins, oxacillin, and imipenem but not expanded-spectrum cephalosporins. The bla(OXA-58) gen...

Background: Depression is one of the most commonly diagnosed mental disorders. Nurses and other hospital service providers are a group at high risk for developing depression. Thus, knowing the prevalence of depression among nurses can help the health care decision- makers to plan ad hoc prevention programs to control depression in this group. This study was conducted to quantitatively assess th...
