Advanced polymer matrix composites are gaining the market in their way due to exceptional specific stiffness, strength, fatigue, and corrosion resistance field of Auto-Tech, Aero-Tech, Biotech, etc. However, lack ductility catastrophic failure has limited application these areas. Hence there is a need explore means protocols for designing reduced factor safety with high-performance toughened composites. To address this problem, new generation pseudo-ductile or ductile behavior needed. The ongoing High-Performance Ductile Composite Technology (HiPerDuCT) program jointly between University Bristol U.K Imperial College London challenge by developing newer materials. fiber architectures made under project gave more gradual rather than which improves mechanical properties.
