چکیده
Abstract Cerebral ischemia is an extremely complex disease that can be caused by a variety of factors. cause great harm to human body. Sevoflurane volatile anesthetic frequently used in clinic, and has lot advantages, such as quick induction general anesthesia, anesthesia recovery, no respiratory tract irritation, muscle relaxation, small cycle effect. The mechanism sevoflurane preconditioning or post-treatment poorly understood. purpose this study was illustrate the underlying sevoflurane-induced protection cerebral ischemia–reperfusion injury also provide theoretical guidance for future research.

[Mechanism underlying thrombus formation in cerebral infarction].
For thrombus formation, three important factors, blood flow, blood component and blood vessels, have been recognized as Virchow's triad. In cardiogenic embolism with atrial fibrillation, stagnation of blood in the left atrium causes fibrin-rich thrombus. Anticoagulation is the only effective drug for prevention of this type of thrombus. In atherothrombotic and lacunar infarction, injury of endo...
متن کاملInhibition of sevoflurane postconditioning against cerebral ischemia reperfusion-induced oxidative injury in rats.
The volatile anesthetic sevoflurane is capable of inducing preconditioning and postconditioning effects in the brain. In this study, we investigated the effects of sevoflurane postconditioning on antioxidant and immunity indexes in cerebral ischemia reperfusion (CIR) rats. Rats were randomly assigned to five separate experimental groups I-V. In the sham group (I), rats were subjected to the sam...
متن کاملMechanism underlying the effects of doxepin on β-amyloid -induced memory impairment in rats
Objective(s): In previous studies, researchers observed that doxepin could improve cognitive processes and has protective effectson the central nervous system. Thus, this study was designed to analyze the effects of doxepin on β-amyloid (Aβ)-induced memory impairment and neuronal toxicity in ratand to explore the underlying mechanism. Materials and Methods: Rats were treated with Aβ1-42 and dox...
متن کاملHypercholesterolemic Myocardium Is Vulnerable to Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury and Refractory to Sevoflurane-Induced Protection
Recent studies have demonstrated that volatile anesthetic postconditioning confers myocardial protection against ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury through activation of the reperfusion injury salvage kinase (RISK) pathway. As RISK has been shown to be impaired in hypercholesterolemia. Therefore, we investigate whether anesthetic-induced cardiac protection was maintained in hypercholesterolemic r...
متن کاملEffect of pre-treatment with oxytocin on cardiac enzymes in regional ischemiareperfusion injury induced in the rat heart
Introduction: Cardiac preconditioning represents the most potent and consistently reproducible method of rescuing heart tissue from undergoing irreversible ischemic damage. The aim of the present study was to evaluate oxytocin (OT) induced cardioprotection and its signaling pathways on lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme (CK-MB) in the anesthetized rats. Methods: Ei...
