In order to reduce the power consumption of screw conveyor and improve productivity, this study investigated such mechanical characteristics rubbed maize straw as coefficient sliding friction, angle repose, internal friction coefficient, cohesion, flow function value compressible with respect its moisture content density. An experiment was designed consists a characteristic test-bed, direct shear apparatus, self-made device adjustable density compression. The results showed that: increases increase density; repose each increasing respectively; there is no significant effect between cohesion straw; goes up content; also leads increased bulk due reduced materials gap compression which makes it hard compress. equation pressure found, suitable for analysis straw. research lay theoretical foundation basis further on properties
