MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE ENHANCED BY FLY-ASH AND STEEL FIBER

This research deals with production of light weight aggregate concrete by using clayey stone aggregate, normal material (cement , sand) and some mineral admixtures (fly ash steel fiber ). Many trial mix were doing these weighing ratio others volumetric . We get (LWAC) 24.92 N/ mm2 compressive strength we improved mechanical properties adding same percentage fly (0.5 ,1 ,1.5) % each other as a cement content increased (7.8 5.2 2.9) splitting tensile (20 ,16.71, 12)% flexural (24.5 17.9 8) when respectively. The practical results the current study indicates that to produce is success can this was produced in previously percentage.
