چکیده
Abstract Infrastructure and industry have grown dramatically as a result of globalization urbanization. However, there are certain challenges, such meeting infrastructural needs that require large amount extraction natural aggregates disposal waste generated industrialization. Both these challenges an adverse impact on the environment. Deforestation, erosion, contamination nearby streams, increase in noise, dust, emissions all consequences aggregate extraction. The industrial can contaminate groundwater, lakes, rivers coastal waterways harm land neighboring water bodies. Hence must be addressed priority for environmental sustainability. current study developed structural lightweight concrete (SLWAC) using sintered fly ash (SFA). investigation was done with use different binders Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), Ordinary (OPC), Micro Fibre (MFC). present explores suitable binder to produce SLWAC at water-cement ratios 0.4, a0.44, 0.48. performance evaluation investigated by mechanical behavior like compressive strength, split tensile, flexural test. Microstructure analysis is also included this validate experiment results. made from OPC shows more strength than PPC MFC, due faster hydration early gain. microfiber cement, has compared PPC. This could fibers acting reinforcing agent, which reduces micro cracks. microstructure wall effect does not exist normal concrete. It uniform continuous products partially penetrates SFA. associated superior interfacial transition zone having lower w/c ratio because higher absorption findings show used members beams, columns, slabs.

متن کاملEvaluation of the Chemical and Mechanical Properties of Hardening High-Calcium Fly Ash Blended Concrete
High-calcium fly ash (FH) is the combustion residue from electric power plants burning lignite or sub-bituminous coal. As a mineral admixture, FH can be used to produce high-strength concrete and high-performance concrete. The development of chemical and mechanical properties is a crucial factor for appropriately using FH in the concrete industry. To achieve sustainable development in the concr...
متن کاملFly Ash-based Geopolymer Lightweight Concrete Using Foaming Agent
In this paper, we report the results of our investigation on the possibility of producing foam concrete by using a geopolymer system. Class C fly ash was mixed with an alkaline activator solution (a mixture of sodium silicate and NaOH), and foam was added to the geopolymeric mixture to produce lightweight concrete. The NaOH solution was prepared by dilute NaOH pellets with distilled water. The ...
