Mechanical and Impact Properties of Fibrous Rubberized Geopolymer Concrete

Geopolymer concrete significantly contributes to reducing harmful emissions by the cement industry and replacing it with by-product materials produced different industries. Geopolymers have enhanced mechanical properties compared cementitious products, however, their ductility impact resistance tend be relatively low. Additionally, used rubber tires provide a significant environmental risk. Consequently, this research's primary objective is develop investigate improved rubberized geopolymer concerning resistance. Reusing Crumb Rubber (CR) as an alternative natural sand was investigated meet these goals using volume replacement ratios of (3%, 6%, 9%). fractions polypropylene fibres (0.25%, 0.5%, 0.75%) were used. Investigations been done on how CR content affects material's physical, characteristics. Research has also adding Rubberized Concrete (RGC). The findings revealed that, even though RGC are lower, mode failure, toughness, flexural performance, due synergistic influence fibres. Furthermore, incorporating fibers better than only. For instance, toughness indices reached best enhancement 6% 0.5% fibers. Moreover, results indicated that absorbed energy failure hitting 240% increment. microstructure exploration confirmed achieved properties.
