Mechanical and Durability Properties of High-Performance Concrete Incorporating Fibers and Algerian Natural Pozzolans in Chloride Attack

This study aims to assess the effect of sodium chloride attack on mechanical and durability properties high-performance concrete (HPC) based fibers natural pozzolans. The resistance specimens against chemical is determined by unit weight, compressive strength, splitting-tensile ion permeability, apparent gas visual inspection after 28, 90, 180, 365 days testing. A total three types are assessed: reference (RC), HPC, fiber-reinforced (HPFRC) stored in tap water aggressive (i.e., a 10% NaCl solution). test results demonstrate that presence negatively affects permeability HPC.
