Measurements-Based Channel Models for Indoor LiFi Systems

چکیده
Light-fidelity (LiFi) is a fully-networked bidirectional optical wireless communication (OWC) technology that considered as promising solution for high-speed indoor connectivity. Unlike in conventional radio frequency systems, the OWC channel not isotropic, meaning device orientation affects gain significantly. However, due to lack of proper models LiFi many studies have assumed receiver vertically upward and randomly located within coverage area, which realistic assumption from practical point view. In this paper, novel measurement-based systems are proposed. Precisely, statistics derived case oriented stationary mobile users. For users, two proposed, namely, modified truncated Laplace (MTL) model Beta (MB) model. sum Gaussian (SMTG) (SMB) Based on models, impact random spatial distribution users investigated, where we show aforementioned factors can strongly affect system performance.

Channel Model and Capacity for Broadband Indoor MIMO-WLAN Systems Based on Measurements at 2.4GHz
The paper provides a channel model which is suited for broadband indoor WLAN (wireless local area network) applications. Especially the communication within one room is addressed. These applications are characterised by no or very slow movements of the terminal in conjunction with high data rates requiring high bandwidths for transmission. Present WLAN systems offer data rates up to 108 Mb/s, m...

Indoor Radio Channel Models based on Measurements and Ray-Tracing at 5.2 GHz1 Stefan Mangold, Matthias Lott2 Abstract| In [2], time-domain channel models are used to investigate transmission schemes. The way of how these models are developed based on ray tracing as well as channel sounding results is discussed in this paper.

In this paper a procedure is given for obtaining the channel impulse response for a rectangular room in terms of image sources. Exact image source strengths are evaluated using the Laplace transform formulation of the Sommerfeld problem. The coherent component of the impulse response is shown to exhibit significant variation is space. The performance of a decision feedback equalizer is examined...

IEE802.15.4 technology is widely deployed to monitor environmental changes without being tethered off of a wired network. In order to have good performance and no loss of information or alarm an accurate planning of indoor radio systems is required. It means to characterize the propagation channel. Moreover to know the behavior of the WSN channel model or RFID technologies allows to localize th...
