Measurement of phthalate acid esters in non-alcoholic malt beverages by MSPE-GC/MS method in Tehran city: chemometrics

Phthalic acid esters (PAEs) are compounds that used in the bottle as main plasticizers. Therefore, possibility of releasing phthalate into beverages is very high and there a concern to consumer health monitoring organizations. The aim this research was assess phthalic (di-n-octyl (DNOP), butyl benzyl (BBP), dimethyl (DMP), diethyl (DEP) dibutyl (DBP), bis(di-ethylhexyl) (DEHP), total PAEs) bottled non-alcoholic malt (n = 120) by multi-walled carbon nanotubes were magnetized with iron (MWCNT-Fe3O4) using gaschromatography/mass spectrometry (GC-MS). results showed highest lowest levels samples 9483.93 2412.50 ng/L, respectively. mean DEHP which has also been found be carcinogenic all lower than 5944.73 ng/L. concentration four upper 8957.87 Perceived limit detection (LOD) ranged from 13 30 ng/L quantification (LOQ) 39 90 Multivariate techniques heat map visualization correlation among type PAEs brand, color, product date, pH, sugar, volume, gas pressure. based on principal component analysis (PCA) results, closest accessions, indicating these variables had similar trends. Based it can stated due low average beverages, no serious hazard for humans.
