چکیده

Fifty blood samples were collected from sheep of different regions in Salah Al-Din Governorate for the period November 2019 to April 2020 detected some hematological and biochemical criteria infection with intestinal protozoa (Eimeria, Cryptosporidium) helminthes (Marshallagia sp, Trichostrongylus Ostertagia sp ,Haemonchus Chabertia , Nematodirus Toxocara Cooperia Oesophagostomum Strongyloid sp) .
The results study showed that nematodes had an effect on haematological parameters, as there was a significant decrease red cells (RBCs), volume packed (PCV), lymphocytes compared control Groups reaching 4.9±1.173,21.9±7.2±1.871, 21.9± 2.881, 45.1± 3.624 respectively.
While increase number white (WBCs) groups 13.2±3.116 Regarding concentration protein albumin, 5.308±0.552, 2.124±0.372 respectively, well iron calcium, 158.6 ± 34.4, 8.73± 2.48 while no change concertation magnesium potassium reported.

Investigation of hematological and biochemical parameters in small ruminants naturally infected with Babesia ovis

Babesia ovis plays an important role in causing anemia and kidney dysfunction in affected animals. There are few extensive studies about hematological and biochemical findings of small ruminants' babesiosis caused by B. ovis. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of babesiosis on some hematological and biochemical parameters in infected small ruminants with B. ovis. A total of 280 sh...

Hematological and Some Biochemical Alterations in Sheep Experimentally Infected with Clostridium Perfringens Type D Infection

The study was designed to determine the hematological and biochemical changes in sheep following the experimental Clostridium perfringens type D infection. Mean leukocyte count was significantly higher (p < 0.05) between control and infected groups at 10 hours (11.2±0.3 vs 19.7±3.5), 20 hours (10.6±0.3 vs 16.9±0.2) and then started to decrease in infected group. A statistically significant incr...
