چکیده
Photovoltaic and solar thermal projects require accurate irradiance data models for the design, assessment, forecasting of power output. For panels collectors installed in arrays, view toward sky ground is restricted by surrounding rows. This paper analyzes impact obstructions on diffuse distribution fixed-tilt addressing insufficient research coverage to date. Irradiance was measured using high-precision pyranometers placed at ten positions throughout an experimental collector array 3.5 6 m row spacings 30°, 37.5°, 45° tilt angles (relative between 0.68 1.51). A novel anisotropic transposition model developed calculate tilted along height, accounting masking due obstructions. The also solved inversely, obtaining local global horizontal from irradiance. validation showed that accurately captures distinct shape distribution. Results indicate a strong effect narrow steep angles. most extreme configuration (3.5 spacing, angle, 1.67 relative spacing), reduced 64% bottom 89% average, top collector. As consequence, measurements can result biased performance assessments.

Modeling Solar Lyman Alpha Irradiance
Solar Lyman alpha irradiance is estimat,ed from various solar indices using linear regression analyses. Models developed with ~nultiple linear regression analysis, including daily values and 81-clay running means of solar indices, predict reasonably well both the shortand long-term variations observed in Lyman alpha. It is shown that the full disk equivalent width of tlle He line at 1083 111x1 ...
متن کاملThe HelioClim Project: Surface Solar Irradiance Data for Climate Applications
Meteosat satellite images are processed to yield values of the incoming surface solar irradiance (SSI), one of the Essential Climate Variables. Two HelioClim databases, HC-1 and HC-3, were constructed covering Europe, Africa and the Atlantic Ocean, and contain daily and monthly means of SSI. The HC-1 database spans from 1985 to 2005; HC-3 began in 2004 and is updated daily. Their quality and li...

The comparison of spectral measurements and calculations provides an excellent foundation for analyzing the ability of models to compute the solar irradiance absorbed in the atmosphere. Since molecular absorption bands have distinctive spectral signatures, the absence of an atmospheric absorber in a model would result in spectral measurement-model residuals qualitatively different from those ca...

متن کاملDistributions of Direct, Reflected, and Diffuse Irradiance for Ocular UV Exposure at Different Solar Elevation Angles
To analyze intensities of ocular exposure to direct (Eo,dir), reflected (Eo,refl), and diffuse (Eo,diff) ultraviolet (UV) irradiance at different solar elevation angles (SEAs), a rotating manikin and dual-detector spectrometer were used to monitor the intensity of ocular exposure to UV irradiation (Eo) and ambient UV radiation (UVR) under clear skies in Sanya, China. Eo,dir was derived as the d...
