Maximizing the Rice Yield (Oryza Sativa L.) using NPK Fertilizer

Background: Rice has become a primary daily necessity for mostly Indonesian population. The upsurge of national rice production can be done by agricultural intensification through the application NPK fertilizer. Objective: This study aimed to determine optimum dose Mutiara fertilizer, which could provide highest yield Ciherang variety in Alluvial soil. Methods: was single factor arranged completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications. fertilizer treatment consisted four doses, i.e. , 0, 160, 320, and 480 kg ha‾ 1 . data observations were analyzed using analysis variance (ANOVA) at 5% significance levels. difference between averages compared Duncan′s new multiple range test (DMRT) Results: results research showed that increase growth quadratic regression revealed Mutiata obtained 656 maximum grains dry weight 4.26 tons not affect shoot root ratio panicle length.
