چکیده
In this paper, we attempt to unify two array processing frameworks viz, Acoustic Vector Sensor (AVS) and level nested enhance the Degrees of Freedom (DoF) significantly beyond limit that is attained by a Uniform Linear Hydrophone Array (ULA) with specified number sensors. The major focus design line architecture which provides high resolution unambiguous bearing estimation increased spatial nulls mitigate multiple interferences in deep ocean scenario. AVS can provide more information about propagating acoustic field intensity vector simultaneously measuring pressure along tri-axial particle velocity components. work, have developed Nested (NAVS) data model demonstrate performance enhancement. Conventional MVDR filters are used as response function evaluate proposed architecture. Simulation results show significant improvement increase DoF, localization sources reduced side lobe level.

The Minimum Number of Sensors - Interpolation of Spatial Temperature Profiles in Chilled Transports
Wireless sensor networks are an important tool for the supervision of cool chains. Previous research with a high number of measurement points revealed spatial temperature deviations of more than 5 °C in chilled transport, but the number of sensors has to be reduced to an economically useful value for use in regular transport. This paper presents a method to estimate the minimum number of sensor...
متن کاملMaximizing the Minimum Angle with the Insertion of Steiner Vertices
We consider the problem of inserting a vertex inside a star-shaped input polygon at the location that maximizes the minimum angle in the resulting triangulation. An existing polynomial-time algorithm solves for the intersection of three polynomial surfaces (a prior paper indicates that these are eighth-degree polynomials) and computes the maxima of the curve of intersection of two such surfaces...
متن کاملMaximizing Barrier Coverage Lifetime with Mobile Sensors
Sensor networks are ubiquitously used for detection and tracking and as a result covering is one of the main tasks of such networks. We study the problem of maximizing the coverage lifetime of a barrier by mobile sensors with limited battery powers, where the coverage lifetime is the time until there is a breakdown in coverage due to the death of a sensor. Sensors are first deployed and then co...
متن کاملComputing an Optimal Path with the Minimum Number of Distinct Sensors
Wireless sensors can be deployed in boundary regions to replace human in intruder detection. Given a deployment of such a wireless sensor network, we present a method to compute a path crossing the minimum number of distinct sensors from a source to a destination. There has been some research on finding the minimum number of sensors to cover a boundary region; but the minimum number of sensors ...
متن کاملMaximizing the Minimum Load for Selfish Agents
We consider the problem of maximizing the minimum load for machines that are controlled by selfish agents, who are only interested in maximizing their own profit. Unlike the regular load balancing problem, this problem has not been considered in this context before. For a constant number of machines, m, we show a monotone polynomial time approximation scheme (PTAS) with running time that is lin...
