Methods. This was a retrospective cross-sectional which included who had hearing screening test using transient-evoked otoacoustic emissions (TEOAE) on both ears at Philippine General Hospital Ear unit during three weeks. We obtained demographic characteristics, presence/absence diabetes, OAE results.
Results. Among 150 neonates, ten were mothers, with an age range 2-8 days old. Forty percent compared 7.9% nondiabetic mothers' neonates. After logistic regression analysis, there significant between p-value <0.05. If mother diagnosed (gestational/pre-gestational), odds having 2x higher. can from 2-43 times.
 Conclusion. 40%. There test.
