چکیده
Background: Elective cesarean section (CS) is an appropriate therapeutic modality in high risk pregnant dogs and it scheduled following a drop serum progesterone to less than 2ng/ml. However, series of assays are required confirm this levels voluntary waiting period often results foetal loss. The present study aimed assess the innocuity elective CS before prepartum decline progesterone, without administration any priming agents. Methods: was performed on estimated day 63 ovulation seven with level between 2-5 ng/ml (Group I) maternal neonatal outcomes were assessed comparison nine that underwent at 2 II). Histopathological examination lung tissue from dead neonates ascertain presence type II pneumocytes for assessing maturity. Result: Even though above Group I time (3.11±0.29 ng/mL), live birth rate 96.97 per cent acceptable survival. histopathology revealed pneumocytes. suggested could be done after compromising maturity not mandatory puppy survivability.

Comparison of Maternal and Neonatal Outcome Following Cesarean Section at 38-40 Weeks
Background: The rate of Cesarean section is increasing which may be due to maternal and neonatal issues. Preterm Cesarean (at 38-39 weeks) has several morbidities and leads to maternal problems. The goal of this study was to compare neonatal and maternal complications following the performance of the Cesarean section after 38 weeks. Methods: This cross-sectional study evaluated 1010 subjec...
متن کاملElective cesarean section: its impact on neonatal respiratory outcome.
Physiologic events in the last few weeks of pregnancy coupled with the onset of spontaneous labor are accompanied by changes in the hormonal milieu of the fetus and its mother, resulting in preparation of the fetus for neonatal transition. Rapid clearance of fetal lung fluid is a key part of these changes, and is mediated in large part by transepithelial sodium reabsorption through amiloride-se...
متن کاملNeonatal respiratory morbidity after elective cesarean section.
OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to examine the rate of respiratory morbidity in neonates delivered by elective cesarean delivery (ECD) at term, with a definite confirmation of gestational age (GA) by 1st-trimester ultrasound. METHODS Consecutive women carrying a singleton pregnancy and undergoing ECD at term (>38 1/7 weeks), confirmed by 1st-trimester ultrasound, were included in th...
متن کاملMorphology of the cesarean section scar in the non-pregnant uterus after one elective cesarean section.
OBJECTIVES A growing number of studies suggest that the incomplete healing of the CS scar in the uterus increase the risk of uterine dehiscence or rupture during subsequent pregnancies. Thus, the factors that affect wound healing should be evaluated. We aimed to determine whether the morphology of the CS scar in non-pregnant women after one elective CS was affected by the site of the uterine in...
متن کامل[Neonatal Morbidity in Term Newborns Born by Elective Cesarean Section].
INTRODUCTION International guidelines suggest that non-urgent planned deliveries be scheduled at or after 39 weeks. Despite this recommendation elective cesarean often occurs before 39 weeks. Some research has demonstrated that elective cesarean before 39 weeks poses a greater risk to the infants than at or after 39 weeks. OBJECTIVE To evaluate neonatal morbidity in term newborns born by elec...
