Throughout the last decades developments on desalination field have been focused energy consumption and costs reduction. However, water recovery brine disposal are becoming a matter of concern to industry. In this work, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) unit coupled with Solar Micro Gas Turbine (SMGT) system is presented address, among others, challenges mining industry in remote areas, particular, fossil fuel dependence, availability pollution derived from effluents disposal. As way assess feasibility proposal, techno-economic analysis application two Southern American regions (Chile Ecuador) photovoltaic modules, wind turbines Turbines performed.
