Mapping the VNFs and VLs of a RAN Slice Onto Intelligent PoPs in Beyond 5G Mobile Networks

The mapping of a virtual network service onto physical infrastructure is challenging task due to the joint allocation resources across nodes and links, diverse technical requirements end-users, coordination between multiple host domains, others. This issue exacerbated further by extension virtualization next-generation radio access (NG-RAN) architecture provisioning (RAN) slicing. To that end, this article focuses on problem functions (VNFs), as well their internal external links (VLs), RAN slice subnet intelligent points presence (I-PoPs) transport networks in NG-RAN architecture. In context, contrast majority state-of-the-art proposals, which frequently fail achieve performance objectives neglect resource constraints, introduces automation intelligence at an architectural level map VNFs VLs corresponding with goal achieving superior efficiency utilization while granting subnet.
