Mapping the Energy Sector from a Risk Management Research Perspective: A Bibliometric and Scientific Approach

This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of risk management research developments in the energy sector by using bibliometric analysis techniques. We apply SciMAT software understand how intellectual base this topic has evolved over time and what major themes are that have contributed evolution. analyse 679 publications referenced Web Science Core Collection Scopus map content on period 30 years (1993–2022), following methodical rigour PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Meta-Analyses). Our results identify support evolution industry, its interactions, stability, changes network. work contributes current debate identifying trends enhancing understanding from perspective research. It can also be reference point those interested deepening their knowledge field.
