Electromagnetic Mapping During Complex RF Ablations
Electromagnetic mapping has made possible the routine approach to complex arrhythmia mapping. Originally, it was developed to facilitate accessory pathway location, but it only complicated solitary pathway ablation. Especially, with the introduction of atrial fibrillation ablation, the electromagnetic mapping has become an irreplaceable component of this procedure. Latter, this 3-dimentional ma...
متن کاملToward Reduction of Uncertainty in Complex Multi-reservoir River Systems
In this paper we present a novel framework for better modeling uncertainty in complex systems and demonstrate the approach applied to regulated river systems. In this framework, only the stream inflows are assumed to be purely stochastic. Other uncertain quantities are correlated to the uncertainty of the stream inflows using the dynamics of the river as the physical description of the system. ...
متن کاملNew Method for Reservoir Mapping
A map or, more generslly, a numerical model of an attribute’s dwhibution in spsce is rarely sn end goal. Maps are used as input to some transfer function designed to simulate a response of interest (Fig. 1). The “quslity” of a map m numericaf model should be appreciated in relation to the p2rticubu transfer function through which it will be processed. A map is a poor model of reality if it does...
متن کاملSolving robot selection problem by a new interval-valued hesitant fuzzy multi-attributes group decision method
Selecting the most suitable robot among their wide range of specifications and capabilities is an important issue to perform the hazardous and repetitive jobs. Companies should take into consideration powerful group decision-making (GDM) methods to evaluate the candidates or potential robots versus the selected attributes (criteria). In this study, a new GDM method is proposed by utilizi...
متن کاملElectromagnetic Scattering by Multi-wall Carbon Nanotubes
We provide here a theoretical description of electromagnetic scattering by multi-wall carbon nanotubes based on an effectiveboundary condition derived previously using a phenomenological quantum model. We present the basic analytical solution, extending it then to include the electromagnetic interaction between multiple concentric tubes in the general multi-wall carbon nanotube case.
