Manufacturing of composite (Ni-Al +Al2O3-ZrO2) by using Flame Thermal Spray Technique.

Flame Thermal Spray technique was used to produce matrix composite of ZrO2 (25%) reinforced with Alumina (Al-Ni) (50)% have been spray into base substrate stainless steel type (316L). All samples were grit blasted as initial preparation state and all spraying done at different distances from (12, 14, 16,17, 18, 20) cmtest stiffness, porosity adhesion has experienced on the compound layer which produced study effect changing distance characteristic. heated (950, 1050) ºC for(1/2hr). The results before after heat treatment show that optimum condition for (16 cm) (1050 ºC) are most effective give best especially hardness, adherence bond.
