چکیده

Choice of ligands is significant to successful synthesis metal complexes (coordination compounds). This study reports the use Schiff base as right ligand control poor bioavailability and neurodegenerative toxicity challenges manganese ion. In line with this study, document analysis was used methodological approach evaluate significance in easing these manganese’s aligning resultant coordination compounds (manganese complexes) therapeutic agents anticancer studies. Report also involves crystallographic studies where single crystal X-ray crystallography a chemical characterization technique. addition, molecular docking studies, MOE2008, AutoDock software were reveal mode interaction between manganese(II) (III) ions, well scrutinizing biological efficacy manganese(III) bases against some cell lines. Conclusion drawn that gave more active potent activities than corresponding bases. As result, ion overcome, chelation therapy fulfilled. Results from confirmed revealed mechanism reaction, while buttressed by portraying structure activity relationship (SAR) either or virtual cancer (receptor protein), hits obtained for lead optimizations.

Bioactive Salen-type Schiff Base Transition Metal Complexes as Possible Anticancer Agents

Although metal-based anticancer drugs have been recognized as the most effective agents over the organic compounds, non-selectivity and high toxic effects have limited their applications in a way that only three Pt-analogues have progressed into clinical use. These problems have spurred chemists to develop different strategies based on alternative targets. This work focuses on predicting potenc...
