چکیده
Objectives: The chronic systemic inflammatory process of HIV Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infection in children leads B cell activity to accelerate the osteoclastogenesis process, which results bone alterations. Long-term usage highly active antiretroviral medication decreased quality patients (HAART). Digital panoramic images are useful for radiomorphometric analysis mandibular macrostructure. Mandibular is a that often performed.
Materials and Methods: This study comprised 86 digital radiographs pediatric healthy persons. Secondary data form digitized conventional 43 individuals without clinical symptoms disease were utilized as reference.
 Results: morphometry values by sex with adults showed (MCI) p-value 0.009, (GMI) 0.934, (GI) 0.584, (Go-Co) 0.090, (Co-M) 0.919. Meanwhile, morphometric between index based on age revealed 0.490, 0.657, 0.080, 0.147, 0.158
Conclusion: morphology differed between HIV-infected persons measured radiographs, changes resorption thickness, width, thickness. Furthermore, there no differences values, height, length mandible, well variances sex.
