Abstract The recent resurgence of infectious syphilis across many high-income countries has been accompanied by a shift in demographics, including infections increasing among women reproductive age. Consequently, several are reporting cases congenital syphilis, disease associated with range health and social consequences that is treatable, preventable, could be eliminated.
