Management Strategy of Muara Baru Modern Fish Market

Abstract To compete in the present and future, newly constructed Muara Baru modern fish market, called Pasar Ikan Modern (PIM Baru), requires an effective management approach. This research aims to examine different techniques for PIM utilizing a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat (SWOT) analysis. The findings indicate that aggressive strategy is required. Alternative strategies include improving facilities adding products sold at food court, assigning special employees promote implement more intensive innovative promotional activities on social media, collaborating with government optimizing Gemarikan (a national program popularize eating fish), cooperating online business partners increasing merchants' capacity transact online, service quality. outcomes of alternative are offered consider. Keywords: strategy, SWOT Analysis Abstrak ikan (PIM) yang baru dibangun memerlukan strategi pengelolaan tepat sehingga mampu bersaing di masa sekarang dan akan datang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis alternatif menggunakan analisis (SWOT). Hasil menunjukan bahwa diperlukan strategy.
