Management of neglected vicious cat bite in a child: A case report

Introduction: Cat bites make up 10% of all animal and have a high incidence infection. can cause severe deep bacterial infection in closed spaces such as tendon sheath, joints, bones due to their sharp teeth. Generally, cat bite wound infections are reported at 30%-60%, which is double compared rat or dog bites. However, easily misjudged minimal appearance tissue injury. Case Report: We hereby present case neglected complicated with healthy child. The was debrided the operation theatre, ten-day course antibiotics completed. No further noted child discharged home well. Conclusion: There no exact algorithm treatment for nasty wounds that should be treated early aggressively. Empirical oral intravenous started immediately, adequate surgical debridement indicated provide better outcome there standardized protocols initial management.
