چکیده
BACKGROUND: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common malignancy in children. Febrile neutropenia one of medical emergencies ALL patients. One risk factors that associate with febrile malnutrition. Malnutrition reduce body’s immunity increase incidence infection.
AIM: aimed to prove malnutrition as factor children who had neutropenia
METHOD: This case-control study samples a hundred aged 1 month 18 years old at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar between 2015 - 2021. Subjects were grouped into two, those and without neutropenia. The relationship was analyzed by using chi-square bivariate analysis test.

RESULTS: A subjects devided two groups 50 each group. Bivariate showed significant association (OR 4.53; 95%CI 1.95 10.51; p-value <0.001).
 CONCLUSION: for ALL.

Oral Ciprofloxacin Compared with Intravenous Ceftazidim on Low Risk Febrile Neutropenia in Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia
Abstract Objective Fever and neutropenia are a common complication of chemotherapy in cancer. It is usually managed by hospitalization and empiric administration of antibiotics. Use of Fluroquinolones is limited because of joint/cartilage toxicity. This study attempted to compare the efficacy of oral ciprofloxacin with intravenous ceftazidim in low risk febrile neutropenic lymphocytic leukemi...
متن کاملDengue fever causing febrile neutropenia in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia: an unknown entity.
Dengue fever is endemic in many parts of the world but it has not been described as a cause of febrile neutropenia. We describe here clinical features, laboratory values and outcome in 10 children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and with dengue fever as a cause of febrile neutropenia. These data are compared to an age-matched control population of 22 children with proven dengue infectio...

Background and Objective: Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) could occur before, during or after the initiation of chemotherapy in patients with cancers especially those with hematologic malignancies. This study was designed to determine the prevalence and predictors of TLS in children with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL) and to develop a sensitive prediction rule to identify patients at low risk of...

Background: Patients with leukemia are facing more complications in order to achieve longer survival. We aimed to evaluate the frequency of central nervous system abnormalities (CNS) on MRI of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Methods: Sixty-six children with diagnosis of ALL aged 2-18 years were recruited. Non-contrast sequences of brain MRI in addition to diffusion weighted i...
