Making Merit Just in Medical School Admissions

چکیده

Medical school education must better align with patient care needs for a rapidly changing population. One challenge is to eliminate bias in merit-based admissions more equitably review candidates the structural competency skills desperately needed promote public health and equity. Aligning approaches holistic equitable candidate evaluation will simultaneously support learners improve care.
